Cocktail cost per serve calculator

Turn your own package prices and recipe measures into a per-drink cost, a batch total and an optional menu-price check. No account and no price feed.

Recipe costs

Price the liquid in each glass

The starting values are an editable example, not market averages or live prices. Enter package size and recipe amount in the same unit; changing currency or volume labels does not convert the numbers.

The formula

Package price ÷ size × recipe amount

We repeat that calculation for every liquid, then add your shared allowance and fixed extras. The batch total is per-serve cost multiplied by the number of drinks.

For home batches

Compare recipes before shopping

Use the batch result to compare two menus on the same basis. A lower calculated cost does not mean you need to buy or serve more alcohol.

For a bar menu

Treat price as a first check

The menu figure covers only the entered ingredient share. Add labour, tax, rent, licences, waste, card fees and local operating costs in your own full pricing model.

Optional measuring kit

Make the entered measure repeatable

Cocktail costing questions

How do you calculate cocktail cost per serve?

For each ingredient, divide the package price by its package volume, then multiply by the amount used in one drink. Add the ingredient results, any overpour or spillage allowance, and the per-drink cost of ice, garnish and consumables.

Can I use dollars, euros or another currency?

Yes. Select a displayed currency and enter every price in that currency. The calculator does not fetch exchange rates or convert the values.

Can I enter fluid ounces instead of millilitres?

Yes. Select US fl oz and use US fluid ounces for both package size and recipe amount. Do not mix ml and fluid ounces within the same calculation.

Is the suggested selling price my profit?

No. It only divides the ingredient cost by your selected target cost share. It excludes labour, tax, payment fees, rent, licences, breakage and every other operating cost.
